Asked Questions about cooldial.co.uk's internet access provider
service How
do I sign-up for your service?
We don't make you jump through hoops to use our service, why
should we? We have made it as easy as possible to start enjoying
the benefits of cooldial. There's no sign-up, no lengthy contract
and no payments to be made. All you need to do is enter our
access settings into your computer & that's it!
Can I use more
than one ISP?
Yes, more than half of Internet users already do. Any previous
Internet Service Providers settings will remain on your computer.
Do I need any
additional hardware or software?
All you need is standard modem or ISDN terminal adaptor (and,
of course a phone line!). There is no new technology used,
we simply offer a higher level of service than our competitors.

anonymous?
Yes. Many ISPs are in the perfect position to collect and
sell information about their users' activities. We do not
collect information about which pages you download, we have
no need to. And because there's no sign-up involved we don't
know who you are.
Will using
cooldial cost me more money?
No, you only pay for the minutes you use and we only charge
local call rates. And because our Internet access service
is so reliable, connects first time every time and is so much
faster, you will almost certainly spend less time on-line
or waiting to be connected.

Weekday calls between 8am and 6pm, 3.95 pence per minute.

AOL and Freeserve all provide services where you a charged
a monthly fee. Our members benefit from no monthly subscription
fees.

don't have to install new software to use cooldial so your
old Internet Service Provider details will remain on your
computer. Unlike other ISP's we don't delete settings from
your computer.

be computer literate?
